not so Weak Week

I have had a wonderful week

I have had a wonderful week. This was
my first week attending my new school and It has been great. I already
have a few nerdy friends form that place. At first it appeared a lot
like boring ass, but Thursdays intro to PC’s has me fascinated. By
spending only five hours there I now know how to count with binary and
have a much better understanding about processors and serial
communication. I was completely sucked in the whole time. I haven’t had
a class this interesting in a long time and I’m loving it.

Wednesday was a celebration of being
together with Autumn for seven months now. We had a most excellent lunch
at Molino’s and followed up with going to see the movie Saved. It was a
great movie, if you can laugh at somebody who says Jesus every 10
seconds you will definitely love this movie. We both had a great time,
went to Safehouse a bit afterward, had more great times, and headed to
my house to watch Reno 911, great times. Wednesday was great and then
Thursday was even better. Thursday night we wound up staying up into the
wee hours of the night having the best heart-to-heart conversation we
have ever had. Late night talks are incredible, I think this is love.

Things  have been coming together
out of the strangest places. On a delivery Wednesday I saw a sign that
had many quotes about friendship on it. One of the quotes read: "True
friendship is like sound health, the value of it is seldom known until
it be lost."– Charles Caleb Colton. Later that night I attended a 12&12
study that was studying step 11. I stared at the last paragraphs and the
promises within. " We no longer live in a completely hostile world. We
are no longer lost and frightened and purposeless.(105)" I realized I
have much more peace than I have ever had before in my life, and I could
have not noticed until it was lost. I also had a conversation with a
friend about some of the recent Pathway graduates (that still practice
the same principles as Pathway pushed upon me) and I realized that I was
being very close-minded in resenting them. After all, if it wasn’t for
this mind-control experience I had, I probably wouldn’t be having as
great a life as I am having now. After all, if some people can survive a
catholic upbringing, I can survive Pathway.
