Now my third year serving on the media circle. I always love to capture beautiful moments at this event, and this year was no exception. It’s really great to have this community and this free event every year. Please consider donating if you are able to help keep this alive. It’s not cheap to close a few streets each year to keep this community safe.
Every year now I walk the procession keeping beloved lost family members in mind. This year we lost a few more whose memories I held close to my heart while walking. I put a tribute to them in the urn. I also met up with some familiar friends in the procession, caught up with some returning media circle members. And also wound up bumping into many friendly faces along the way. I love how this city feels like a small town sometimes.
